With reservations pre arrival, you can order the vegetarian option du jour. You can also enjoy the sides of Cowboy BBQ Beans, Prairie Coleslaw, and fresh bread. Sorry, we cannot accommodate a gluten free or vegan menu. You are welcome to bring your own food and enjoy it with your group. We will supply silverware!

Covered Wagons is located 4 miles north from the Washington Street exit and the 10 freeway in Palm Desert. From this direction you will turn right, on to a maintained desert road up to camp. We have free parking on-site for cars and buses. For general dinner tours, wagons roll about 1.5 hours before the sunset. The tour returns to Camp just before or after sunset for dinner and entertainment. Payment is accepted online or on the day of the tour with advanced reservations. We accept all major credit cards or cash on sight.
We recommend comfortable clothing for the weather. After the sun sets, the desert can get cooler. Please being an extra layer. We also suggest closed toed shoes vs sandals or high heels. Don't forget your camera, you will have many photo opportunities and desert sunsets pictures that will last a lifetime!
